and your team at RICC for your organisation of our event on Saturday.

Grateful thanks must also go to Viki for all her hard work on the day.

It was a tremendous effort from both sides to bring it all together and it turned out to be a truly
wonderful event. Your team and the staff made our day something quite special. The comments
we have received have all been in the positive and everyone praised the RICC for the service they
received from you and your team on the day. Particular praise was given for the excellent meal
and professionalism of the waiting staff which rounded off the day quite splendidly. Please pass
on our congratulations to the staff and all those who contributed to making it so.

All the managers and parents enjoyed themselves as did the children. Yet again a success.

Your staff are wonderful, especially Hayley, she is a star, an asset to the Riviera Centre. I had a few meetings with her through the year, and every time she came up trumps.

We can not thank Nick and the team enough for all the hard work put into our event last night. The speed and professionalism of the team was first class, and handled our last minute changes without any quibble.

Everybody absolutely loved the evening and the dinner was super.

We wanted to thank Hayley from the bottom of our hearts for all you did in the run up to our wedding, and of course, the actual day. Everything went beautifully and you were so accommodating of each of our requests. You really helped make our day special and for that, we cannot express our gratitude enough.

Hayley, I wanted to say that our event with you was simply fantastic!  I really can’t rate your venue highly enough - and your attention to detail, kindness and lovely attitude made it a pleasure to work with you!

We’ve had some wonderful comments about the food from the delegates … it really was delicious!  The staff on the day were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.

All the comments I’ve had have been excellent, and back up my experience of the weekend.

Georgia and the rest of the crew were so helpful, nothing was a problem for them. Our committee have put on numerous conferences in the past and have never had such a stress free time.

I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to you when it is our turn again.

We held our review meeting a couple days ago and the team were unanimous that I should write and express our grateful thanks to every member of your various departments for their hard work in making the event so successful. 

We had lots of positive feedback. The advantage of having long-standing staff certainly helps as nothing was too much trouble. We know things can go awry and unexpected - so it's important that all issues arising are dealt with swiftly - and they were!

Well done to Georgia and everyone involved in helping us deliver and successful and enjoyable event. 

I take great pleasure in writing to thank you for the very high standard of help and assistance that your team showed us. 

To be met by the same staff year on year is very reassuring from my point of view, and a sign of a well run organisation. 

Right from the word go, the halls team were fantastic, they were very quick and keen to assist, they could not have been more helpful.

Georgia was right again on top of her job from the outset. {She} goes out of her way to make sure that whatever we wanted was provided quickly and efficiently. I never had to ask for anything twice, it just happened!

The food that was provided to our team was excellent and once again, congratulations to all concerned. 

Just want to say a massive thank-you to Hayley for all her co-operation since we first met and up until now. Hayley has been ever so helpful from start to finish and it just goes to prove the exact reasons we for the first time have decided to hold the fair with yourself at the RICC.

It’s been a massive improvement on {our last} fair for various reasons.  Every employer I spoke with stated the venue was much better, and the calibre of people had been better. From my side of things the customer service has been second to none and you have ensured it’s been such a smooth process. Please do pass thanks on to Nick, Georgia, Jessica, Tayla, Mike and anybody else who has supported the event.

Last week I was a delegate of the FIEC Leaders’ Conference held at the Riviera Centre. I should like to express my heartfelt thanks to your staff who made us all feel very welcome and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

I cannot praise the catering staff enough; they worked so hard and so professionally. They were far better than the catering staff at many four and five-star hotels. How they cooked so many really delicious meals and had them ready to serve so that we could all eat together is a mystery. Perhaps it’s a secret known only to the hospitality sector! Please ensure they are aware of my appreciation.

It was good, to, to be at a conference centre where the washrooms were clean and tidy and well cared for, despite the large number of people wanting to use them at the same time! I was also particularly struck by the gentleman who manned the cloakroom who was so friendly and took care of our coats. Such kindness is so appreciated. Please let him know that he did not go unnoticed and that I am very grateful to him.

I understand FIEC have booked the Centre for 2019 and I look forward to visiting you again.

Can I take this opportunity to thank you and all the staff at the RICC for the attention you have always afforded us at this annual event which has run for 13 years now. 

I cannot fault the service that has been given to us in that time, especially the quality fo food - always served hot and efficiently. Please pass on my special thanks to the Chef. I would just like to say thank you for the excellent facilities and service you provided for our Conference.
The staff were absolutely first class in every respect and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention should be made for the quality of the food and the standard of the service for the meals we enjoyed. The beef was superb!

First of all many many thanks for the really splendid Conference you gave us this weekend.  Nothing was too much trouble and all we heard from our members was praise for the way that you and your staff dealt with them during all of the sessions both food/drink related or the conference itself.
 
I am sorry that I forgot to mention that we left a couple of boxes of paper rubbish in the Rosetor.

I just wanted to write and thank you and your team for all their hard work on Tuesday for the Devon and Somerset Law Society Legal Awards.

The feedback at the meeting yesterday was great - everyone thought the food was fantastic, the service was smooth and discreet, and staff were happy and helpful and the room looked spectacular! The event was considered the best one yet.

Please pass on my thanks to the team at the RICC especially Georgia. She has been fantastic throughout the whole process, her sunny personality and can do attitude was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with her on our next event.

Would just like to say a huge thank you for last night from us at Hewitt Hire! The food was amazing, everything was so well organised and we all had an amazing night.

I wanted to send you a quick email you thank you and your team for your efforts with our Christmas Charity Quiz on Wednesday 22nd November. It was an excellent evening with lots of support via teams from the local business community and most importantly, we managed to raise in excess of £1,000 for our chosen Torbay charity – Hele’s Angels – which is a great achievement. 

Thank you and the staff for a lovely party. Everyone commented on the food, plenty of it and variety and the venue. The disco was just right so people could talk as well as dance. The value for money was good and the disabled access welcome.

We would like to book again for 2018 please so can you let me have dates when they are available.

The dust has finally settled after the 71^st SWBBA Annual Championships which were a huge success. This is in no small way helped by the professionalism and dedication shown by yourself and your team, not only on the day itself but in the preparation for the event. Please pass on my huge debt of gratitude to all involved at the RICC.

I have received many comments and congratulatory remarks on the success and the smooth efficient running of the day.  All of your team made a significant contribution and they should all feel a justifiable sense of pride in their participation without which the day would not have been successful. As a rule, I do not single out individuals as I recognise it is a team effort, however on this occasion I make an exception. Any team needs a leader which in this case is yourself and I would add a personal thank you to yourself not only for the management of your team but for your assistance to myself, particularly in the preparation. You made my task so much easier and I look forward to next year when we can do it all again.

Yet again a very big thank you to you and your ace events, catering and support teams.

Our morning FE guests and PM staff thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful day.

Now, I am a fussy guy - but there was absolutely nothing I could fault with the entire event, your team were outstanding. Everything was done as promised and on time. Every member of staff was so attentive, polite and courteous. Having been at the centre for 20 years, I can honestly say that the food was the best I have ever tasted, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Service was quick and precise with the coffee going down just 75 mins after the starter.

There were so many positive comments about every aspect of the evening from our guests - many surprised at what the centre offered. Mark on the bar had his team working well, taking orders from the tables frequently, Georgia kept me informed how things were behind the scenes every step of the way. It was a masterclass on how to host an event!

Please pass on our gratitude to all involved - it was a perfect night and that doesn't just happen!

I would like to thank you for the professional planning, guidance and advice you gave in the build-up to our event. It has generally been deemed a success which gives us a target to aim for when planning our next one.

On the day I would like to say what a great help Mick was. He was attentive, considerate and on hand to rectify any logistical alteration which was a relief to Alison and myself for a smooth setup.

We will be back in touch when we have had a chance to recover.

It is with some pleasure that I wish to advise you of the excellent attention we have received recently from Ms Georgia Parker, Ms Viki Thompson and their teams when assisting with the planning and arrangements for our annual meeting. Viki has always been very helpful and is, amongst local conference organisers, quite legendary with nothing (ever) fazing her; I am delighted to find that Georgia is proving a very worthy successor since taking over from her.

I attended the Quilters Guild Conference held at the Riviera Centre this past weekend and would like you to pass on my thanks to all the 'floor staff' who worked this weekend. They were a delight! Their friendliness and willingness to help and answer question contributed to a wonderful weekend.

Very many thanks to all the personnel on your team that were involved with our transmission of Question Time from the Riviera International Conference Centre last week. Everyone was particularly helpful which always makes our day go with a swing! 

Question Time viewing figures are excellent this series, reflection our current political situation, the shake-up that's happening in our domestic politics in Westminster and Europe in particular, apart from the result of the US elections! Our Radio 5 coverage and now social media postings also promote a healthy amount of audience.

The 7th International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks took place at the Riviera International Conference Centre, 27-30 September 2016, and involved 700 delegates from over fifty countries. As Conference Director I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the team at the RICC, from pre-sales and event organisation, to event management and support during the event.

Every request we made was met with enthusiasm and a speedy response, ensuring a world class experience for delegates as well as the conference organisers. In fact my clients stated that this was their most successful conference to date, and feedback from senior colleagues at UNESCO and from around the globe was incredibly positive.

The audio visual supplier to the RICC, ESW, also went beyond the call of duty to ensure smooth delivery across numerous parallel and plenary sessions, as well as significant support to the technically challenging opening ceremony. The RICC delivered first class service and the help and support of the highly competent team there helped to create an event that will live in the memories of the Global Geoparks community for years to come.

Many thanks for helping to make last Wednesday’s TBF Business Festival a great event. The RICC were great – staff fantastic and organisation exemplary.

I just wanted to say thank you for another great evening, which once again ran really smoothly.  So far, all I have received is positive feedback which is always great. Please can you pass on our thanks to the chef, servers, bar staff and everyone who helped to organise the evening. 

All the team here at Blue Cross in Torbay say a huge thank you, our annual Open Day was a huge success.

I just wanted to thank you and your staff for their excellent service over the weekend for my 40th party. You were all very friendly and happy and I had lots of positive comments. The food was exceptional and presented to a high standard, in fact, I could not fault a thing.

The Riviera Centre was the perfect venue for our congress and exhibition - such a convenient location and the views were spectacular. I would have no hesitation in recommending your venue to anyone of my contacts or organisations.

We were also privileged to have met members of the catering and bar staff during our negotiations and food tasting. In addition, we were privileged to have worked with members of the maintenance staff during our conference. 

...The event was a success and the enormous amount of work that all of your staff put in during the Conference was a delight to behold. We must particularly single out Nick because of the work he put in in relation to the Gala Dinner and the Sunday Lunch.

We have received many messages of congratulations on a well run contest, which of course reflects on the excellence of your staff and facilities. One of our Adjudicators said to me on leaving "the best run contest and facilities in the UK" - what more can I say.

I have had a plethora of pleasing comments on the Conference. It seems that it was most enjoyable and well organised. As I said at the conference "thank you", does seem too little, but I assure you it is heartfelt.

I appreciate the work you did in organising the weekend. So much work goes on behind the scenes of which the attendees are unaware. Being involved for the first time I was overwhelmed by just how much detail and coordination have to go on.

It was a pleasure working with you; it seemed that nothing was too much trouble for you and your staff. Your service during the conference and the entertainment evenings was exemplary.

The whole team was amazing springing into cheerful action when we made the decision to change rooms, despite the inconvenience.  Everything went smoothly and the students appreciated the quietness of the exam room as well as the handy Brasserie. 

Thank you so much for your hard work during the event.  Especially the Gala Dinner, we were very impressed with the hard work and good customer service of the many staff.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your hard work and support in helping to make the College's day of Celebration on Friday, go so well.

It was such a great day and went very smoothly despite us welcoming around 850-900 people in total over two awards events.

Everyone carried out their roles extremely professionally and it was great to see so many people having such fun and sharing their success and achievements.

I am writing to say thank you to you and your team at the Riviera Centre for all your help and the excellent service during our conference last week. We had an extremely successful AGM in this our centenary year and that was, in no small part, due to the efficiency and smooth running of the organisation.

I just wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful evening we had on Saturday at the WOW Ball.  We have received a lot of positive feedback from our guests and so I wanted to pass this on to you. Please, could you thank your staff for the sterling service they gave us? Everyone was very attentive and provided a very positive and professional service which made the Ball the success it was.

Can I thank you once again for the help and professionalism you showed to me and the rest of the organising committee over the past week. Your contribution added to the overall success of the Conference and has set the bar for all future conference. Your commitment to the Riviera Centre and the service that you gave us is unquestionable.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your kind and hard work both in the lead up to the event and support onsite.  It was truly a pleasure working with you - despite all the last minute challenges, you always stayed clam and always had a smile!

We've had nothing but praise from all delegates and senior council members from BESS and comments from them that's it has been the best organised and enjoyable meeting they've had to date!

Please do extend our thanks and appreciation to all staff members at the RICC who were involved in this event, not least to Chef and his team for putting on a seamless catering service throughout.

I am writing on behalf of the NFYC Events Steering Group and the Officers of the NFYFC Council, to thank you very much indeed for EVERYTHING you have done to contribute to the success of the 2012 NFYFC Annual Convention weekend in Torquay.

All elements of the weekend held at the Riviera Centre all ran exceptionally well and you both and all personnel at the Centre, played a big part in that - it is very much appreciated.

Just a quick email to say a huge thank you to you and your team.  It really helps to have a helpful, friendly and efficient team when you're setting up such a large event.  All the staff were fantastically supportive and always smiling, it portrays a very positive atmosphere which is fantastic.  We have had some great feedback from attendees and we have decided to use the Riviera Centre for future events.

We were really impressed with the South Devon Awards night. The meal was superb! The beef was the best we have ever tasted and this sentiment was shared by everyone on our table.

We have had nothing but huge praise from all our guests with regard to their "RICC experience" at the Dragonfly Ball. Special praise must, of course, go to Viki for being so long-suffering with our constant questions and DEFINITELY the Chefs & all the catering staff for superb food ("piping hot" as many of our guests have commented!) and excellent service. We could not have possibly chosen a better venue for our very special charity ball in aid of CHSW! I would also like to mention how very professional we found ESW and Rob Watson in particular was a real star.

My wife & I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff that were involved in the above. Our guests were all extremely complementary about the presentation, the food & service and everyone enjoyed the evening immensely. Please pass our compliments on & many thanks again for making not just a very successful evening but a fantastic one.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for co-ordinating our event. The School was very happy with the venue, food etc and a personal level I found the staff to be very accommodating and helpful.

Thanks to Maria and all the staff for making our Dinner and Dance such a success. The food was superb and the service excellent.In fact, I believe that you have obtained other business from friends who enjoyed the evening so much!

This is to say a very big thank you for all the help and support you gave us yesterday.  Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and they were so polite we could not have asked for more.  The food scored highly it was all so fresh and tasty. 

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for your help with regards to our conference which went really well. Even as we were clearing up a member of staff was kind enough to ask if everything had gone well and that we were happy with everything, which just goes to show that your team really care and this showed in the way that they helped throughout the whole day.

Due to renovation and building work at our normal venue, our organisation had to seek and alternative for our Annual Meeting. We chose the Riviera International Conference Centre ,We were absolutely delighted with the help and assistance that we received from the Management and Staff at the Centre, they could not have been more helpful. So much so that we are going back again for this year, and quite likely for many years to come. The catering was also very good quality and reasonably priced. We can recommend the RICC to any organisation looking for a suitable venue and facilities.
