New Play Feature

Waves Leisure Pool, located in the Riviera International Centre in Torquay has confirmed the smooth installation of their new play feature, which launched as scheduled on Wednesday 27th March 2013.

The Pool used the launch as an opportunity to reward their loyal swimmers with a chance to be one of the first to test out the brand new feature free of charge. Swimmers included all those who attend their swimming lessons as well as staff with young children.

Grace Macdowall, the Riviera Centre’s Accountant said “Along with Tanya Brimicombe, our Waves Pool Manager, I played a key role in the design and implementation of the play feature. It was such a delight to see the excitement of children using the activities at the launch; it even brought a tear to my eye!”

The colourful and interactive water play feature took two days to install just prior to the Easter Holidays. “We have already noted an above average number of swimmers for this time of year, said Simon Jolly, the Centre’s General Manager “and we are expecting this to rise further with the unusually cold weather we are experiencing.”
