South Devon Ambassadors join forces for Tourism & Business Exhibition

Torbay’s tourism industry is being beckoned by four South Devon ambassadors to attend an annual exhibition aimed at boosting business over the coming months.

The Riviera International Centre, in partnership with the English Riviera Tourism Company, the Federation of Small Businesses and the English Riviera Attractions Partnership will present the South Devon Tourism & Business Exhibition on Thursday 15th March.

“The tourism industry is a fundamental part of business across South Devon and this event provides businesses and accommodation providers with the networking highlight of the year," said Jenny Thompson Operations Manager at the RICC.

This will be the 4th consecutive exhibition and plans are under way to make this event the biggest yet with the launch of the Herald Express Tourism & Hospitality Awards and Speed Mentoring.

The event takes place during English Tourism Week, an initiative to celebrate the benefits the tourism industry brings to everyone, everywhere, every day in England!

Nearly 200 visitors have already registered to attend as well as a range of exhibitors including local businesses and attractions.

At the exhibition Carolyn Custerson will present an ERTC Industry Update at 2.15pm and Speed Mentoring Sessions will be available from 10.20am to 12.20pm.

The exhibition is free to attend and the first 250 registered accommodation providers will receive a free 2 course lunch.
