New Party Entertainment Company set to dance their way to success

Nephew of Sir Bruce Forsyth and Owner of With a Difference Entertainments; Paul Pickett, is set to combine forces with highly experienced and qualified dancer; Amy Lauren. Their aim to create a brand new entertainment company where street dance takes centre stage.

The pair's company Parties With A Difference will feature a hi-energy party package that combines a professional disco accompanied by food and a street dance class. The party package, which is available exclusively at the Riviera International Centre, has been designed to be a fun and engaging experience that will teach children new skills and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Amy will choreograph a bespoke routine including all of the latest moves and grooves to a selected track chosen by the birthday child for each individual party.

"The street dance craze is really sweeping the country as it appeals to all kids and teens, said Amy. "And the intention of learning the moves to one song means the kids can enjoy performing these moves again and again long after the party has finished."

However children are not the only intended market for the new entertainment duo. "This type of party is also perfect for 'girls nights' or hen parties, said Amy, "as it creates an opportunity for everyone to have a giggle, listen to some great tunes and burn lots of calories!"

Both Paul and Amy have a wealth of experience in the entertainments industry. Paul as a DJ, Compere and Entertainments Manager, and Amy as a dancer, singer and magician. Their previous work has taken them individually all over the UK performing in holiday centres, hotels, clubs and theatres.

Paul, now married with a family has settled in the area, and Amy, born and bred in Torquay, are both delighted to be pursuing careers that they are passionate about. "My uncle Bruce inspired me to get into the entertainment industry, said Paul, "and I've now been in the business for over 10 years. "I have known Amy for several years and this new venture will be very exciting, for the past 4 years working with the Riviera Centre with Children’s Parties and the Bay Brassiere Functions, and since Amy has recently started teaching so street classes. It didn't take us long to spot the excellent opportunity of combining our expertise in both music and dance to create the ultimate party package."
