Macmillan Coffee Morning - Only 2 weeks to go!
With only two weeks to go, the staff and members from the Lifestyle Suite at the Riviera International Conference Centre are getting ready for their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The coffee morning is being held on 28th September in the Aqua Lounge with lots of delicious cakes and coffee on offer. All the proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer so please come on down and help us eat all the cake and raise as much money as we can.
9 am - 10 am: The Cake Off
Our very own Riviera Centre staff will be showing their skills in the kitchen by creating cakes for this competition, the theme for 2018 is 'Seaside' and they are being judged by the Imperial Hotel, Torquay’s Head Chef Owen Isaacs. The winner of the competition will win a meal for 2 at the Imperial Hotel.
10 am - 12:30 Pm: The Coffee Morning
We will then be selling off not only the cakes created by our dedicated staff but also a variety of cakes supplied by some of our wonderful lifestyle members. There will also be coffee urns with donated coffee so that all of the proceeds can go to charity.
We hope you'll be able to join us for one or both of the events, last year we raised over £600 and hope to beat that total this year!
