Keep fit and help save lives
Fitness Instructors at Torquay based Gym have joined forces to raise some much needed funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign by organising a unique Aerobathon aimed at both Adults and Children. The Aerobathon will take place on Saturday 15th October at Lifestyle Health & Fitness Suite and includes an energetic timetable running from 10am until 4:40pm. Classes include Zumba, Cardio Cycling, Yoga and Boxercise among others.
The Breast Cancer Campaign was established in 1988 with the aim of researching the cure for breast cancer. The charity aims to be the leading specialist in breast cancer research across the UK and Ireland, making a significant impact on breast cancer for the benefit of patients.
Fitness Instructor and Aerobathon Organiser Emma Wright said: “We have some great instructors and classes at Lifestyle and so we thought an Aerobathon would be an ideal opportunity to unify our regulars to raise funds for a very worthy charity and also encourage those not familiar with our classes to come along and try them out.
“This is our biggest event to date which aims to cater for everyone including fitness enthusiasts and those new to exercising as participants can pick and choose which classes they would like to try or challenge themselves to the whole programme!”
Children will have the opportunity to train alongside their parents with classes including Boxercise, circuits and aqua running from 1:20pm to 4:40pm aimed at introducing them to the benefits of exercise. Like the Adult Classes, Children can pick which ones they would like to participate in.
Minimum sponsorship per participant for each class is £5 and sponsorship forms are available from Lifestyle Reception. 100% of all donations will go directly to the Breast Cancer Campaign. Prizes for the top 4 fundraisers include: Sunday Lunch for two in the Bay Brasserie, a sports massage with Emma Wright, a family swim at Waves Leisure Pool and a Kids Fit Pack.
Women, men, boys and girls, Lifestyle Members and Non Members are all invited to come along and support this worthy cause. Spaces are limited so classes need to be booked in advance. To book a place and request a sponsorship form call Emma on 07870738647.
