Green bake off to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
A Torquay coffee-shop will be taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning by celebrating all things green.
A cake and hot drink combo will be offered at a discounted rate and there will also be competitions and a special raffle with a selection of prizes up for grabs including a Membership to Lifestyle Health & Fitness Suite. 100% off the raffle proceeds and cake sales will be donated to the charity.
Staff will be dressing up for the occasion and they are inviting their customers to do the same to support the cause.
“We felt compelled to support this worthy charity, said Naomi Morris, Bay Brasserie Supervisor "as due to the statistics that 1 in 3 people will get cancer it is likely that many of us will be affected in some way during our lifetime by this disease.”
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's flagship event. Last year more than 43,000 official coffee mornings were held, raising more than £8 million for the charity.
