Get Fit and Raise Money for Rowcroft!

Fitness instructors and members from the Lifestyle Health & Fitness Suite at the Riviera Centre have teamed together to try and raise as much money as possible for Rowcroft Hospice by running a charity Aerobathon on July 21st from 9.30am – 11.30am.

The Aerobathon is in support of Rowcroft Hospice and involves a 2 hour workout. “It is a great way to get fit as well as raise vital funds for Rowcroft”, says Colin Pemberton, Leisure Manager at the Riviera Centre.
 

“Rowcroft Hospice provide comfort, support and a range of specialist services to care for 2000 patients with life limiting illnesses every year across South Devon. More than 70% of our funding comes from the incredible generosity of local people and we use every single penny of it to help make every day the best day possible for our patients and their loved ones” says Lara Tollast, Marketing and Communications Manager at Rowcroft.
 

The registration fee is £5 in which 100% goes to the hospice. Participants can also raise additional sponsorship if they would like to. 
Ranee Read, a Lifestyle Member who is assisting with the organisation of the event says “The Aerobathon promises to be a fun event with lots of laughter and a real team atmosphere to keep everyone going for 2 hours”.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the event to provide moral support for all the participants. The cost for a spectator’s ticket is £1 in which again, all the proceeds go to Rowcroft Hospice.

To register your place please visit Lifestyle Reception at the Riviera Centre. Participants are also able to show up on the day if they are unable to register beforehand.
