Breakfast followed by progress, reforms and pauses

Chief Executive of Torbay Care Trust; Anthony Farnsworth will be guest speaker at the Riviera International Centre’s next Business Breakfast on Tuesday 21st June 2011.

Mr Farnsworth will be delivering a presentation entitled “NHS – Progress, Reforms and Pauses,” which is particularly timely given the Governments review of its NHS policy and the pressure on Torbay Care Trusts Budgets.

Mr Farnsworth joined Torbay Care Trust in 2006 and has had nearly 20 years experience working in the Public Health Sector since he started out his career as a social worker in 1983. As Chief Executive Mr Farnsworth’s key responsibilities are to ensure that the Care Trust commissions high-quality, cost-effective and comprehensive health and social services for local people.

Mr Farnsworth is one of the many diverse speakers who have been handpicked by the Riviera Centre’s Managing Director; Barry Cole to stimulate attendee’s grey matter rather than deliver a hard sell. Previous speakers include Carolyn Custerson Chief Executive of the English Riviera Tourism Company and Claudia Lock-Fuerst from the Enterprise Europe Network.

The Business Breakfast has built up a steady following since its launch over 14 years ago attracting a variety of delegates from different sectors including accountants, solicitors, hoteliers, recruitment consultants and estate agents.

Each month the Business Breakfast starts at 7:30am and finishes at 9:00am so as not to encroach on the working day and for a limited period only the Riviera Centre is offering a free taster session for new businesses.
