Bon appétit at the Bay Brasserie
Moules marinière, coq au vin and tarte aux pommes française are just some of the french delicacies on the menu at the Bay Brasserie’s French Night on Friday 27th May.
The evening is part of the Bay Brasserie’s regular Around the World Theme Nights which enables customers to experience culinary delights from around the globe without even needing a passport.
Each theme night offers a 3 course themed menu with themed music and decorations for £20.
“Our Theme Nights are incredibly popular attracting loyal customers who return to attend our theme nights month after month, said Steve Vosper Bay Brasserie Shift Leader. “Our French Night has been particularly popular which is most definitely down to our deliciously creative menu that has been designed to reflect France’s wide cross section of renowned cuisine.”
French cuisine is extremely diverse due to France’s varying climate which supports a variety of different produce. This in turn has created regional specialities, some of which have become popular throughout France, such as Coq au Vin which features on the Brasserie’s themed menu.
Other dishes you will find on their extensive 3 course menu include moules marinière; mussels cooked in white wine with onions and a touch of cream, noisettes d’agneau grilles; seared noisettes of lamb on minted pea mash with red wine & rosemary sauce and fruit de la passion & soufflé crème anglaise; passion fruit & custard souffle with caramelized banana and vanilla ice cream.
