
Aqua Zumba at the RICC
Aqua Zumba is part of the Latin inspired dance craze. Aqua is a great way to get in shape especially for those who love to swim or enjoy working out in water. This is because it is fun and invigorating and is one of the best forms of exercise for the muscles in the human body.
It has many health benefits including reducing stress, helps with depression, aids weight loss, improves flexibility and strength. The water also helps reduce the impact on the bodies joints during exercise. Some people often find that they can do exercises in water that they can't do on land, such as people suffering from arthritis.
Aqua Zumba hopes to inspire more people to work out in water my using up lifting music including different Latin rhythms, to make fun, safe and effective water workouts. It is a dance party in the water.
Aqua Zumba is held in Waves Leisure Pool on Thursday evenings 6:30 - 7:15pm.
