A tasteful celebration of Independence Day
A Torquay restaurant will be dishing out a dedicated American themed menu on Friday 1st July in a pre-celebration of USA's Independence Day.
The Bay Brasserie, based in the Riviera International Centre, has created a menu that reflects the vibrancy of America's culture with a varied selection of dishes. Just some of the items on the menu include; Cajun prawn skewers, Jumbo prawns grilled with a garlic & cajun marinade, set on a vegetable jambalaya to start; salmon wrapped in a tortilla with spinach & caper sauce for main, and; bread & butter pudding laced with Jack Daniels and served with homemade vanilla ice cream to finish.
A particular favourite of Head Chef Steve Pask on the menu is the Texas 8 oz rib eye steak served with blue cheese or peppercorn sauce. "Our steaks are sourced from local supplier Jaspers and we can ensure that each steak will be cooked exactly to each customer’s requirements. This particular dish is also served with sweet potato fries, broccoli, green beans and a bowl of leaf salad with ranch dressing - all authentic American dishes which compliment the steak perfectly."
The USA Night is priced at £20 for all 3 courses. To view the full menu visit www.baybrasserie.co.uk. Booking is essential, to book call 01803 206337.
