2014 Bay Blooms Awards

A SUMMER full of flowers has been celebrated in Torbay with the 2014 Bay Blooms awards.

Entrants in the perennial competition enjoyed a presentation ceremony at the Riviera International Conference Centre.

The biggest stars on the night were Maria Parsons and Colin Ferneaux for their brilliant front garden in Salisbury Road and Pride in Brixham who won three awards to go with all the awards they won at the South West in Bloom Competition.

A spokesman said: “The evening went well and all the entrants seemed to enjoy themselves and were delighted with their awards. We managed to keep the results a secret until they were announced last night , so to some people it was a big surprise.”
